At loved pets we care deeply about the wellbeing of our animals and the homes that they are going into. We want to make sure that our animals and there new family can all acclimate correctly and get along. Through this process we can make sure that everyone is happy and can thrive in this new chapter of each others lives.
The first step in our adoption process is that you make an appointment with us. This so that we cna figure out a time for you to come in an meet with the animal that you are interesting in adopting. Through this appointment we will ask you questions to help gauge if you are elligible to adopt and if not we can redirect you to the right resources.

After you have made an appointment with us you will be able to come in and meet with the animal that you are interested in adopting. This is so that you can get to know each other and for the animal to get to know you. It also helps us see if you both are a good fit for each other and if not how we can help either find a better fit or fix any issues that may arise.
After your meet with the pet your if you have decide that you want to adopt we will send you an email with the adoption form. This adoption form is valid for 5 days meaning that you have 5 days to think about if you really want to adopt this animal or not. Along with that adoption fees will be on this form so that families that can not afford to adopt are aware.
In order to adopt you must show proof of your address, proof of your income, and proof of your identity.Family information is required for this adopting process which means that we must know all people that live in the house, their age, if they have any disabilities, and other key information which will be on this form.
At loved pets we have multiple people that are looking at the same animals that you are looking at which means that we have multiple applications for the same animal. Through this process we have a team that looks through each application and figures our which familys meets our pets needs and wants and if the pet will benefit from and to the family.
For this second all family members must be present. This is so that we can make sure that everyone is on the same page and that everyone is happy with the decision to adopt. After the second meeting our team will review their assessment of the second meeting and if they are happy with the decision they will sign the papers and you will be able to take your new pet home!
During the first month of your new pets life we will follow up with you to make sure that everything is going well and that you are happy with your new pet.
